The 30 minute vocal evaluation is where you can start your vocal training process. You'll receive a free voice analysis and run through exercises that will increase your range and allow you to see how Speech Level Singing™ will train your voice quickly and efficiently.

Whether you're living in Utah, out of state, or even overseas, there's always a way to take a lesson! Studio lessons are catered for those who are within or around the St. George area, and phone lessons for those who live too far away, out of state or overseas and simply want a lesson without traveling. Because we are training muscles and building technique, phone lessons have the same effect as lessons in person.

Exercises are customized for the individual singer. Some people will need retraining to correct bad technique or bad habits. Others will be building their voice from the ground up.

Each lesson involves exercises that strengthen the tiny muscles within and surrounding the vocal cords and train the larynx to stay down. Each exercise is done with explicit focus on the larynx and vocal cords. We've all heard the term "sing from the diaphragm." Speech Level Singing™ is designed so the natural movement of the diaphragm is balanced with the proper quantity of air and vocal cord resistance.

The goal of the lessons is to strengthen these muscles which build the voice and fill the areas of resonation. Half of the lesson is focused on exercises while the rest is dedicated to applying what you have learned in a song. Be sure to bring your choice of song CDs to each lesson.

Nothing ever improves without practice! The same goes for singing. Whether your lessons are given in studio or over the phone, a recording of each lesson will be given to you on CD or through email. These recordings are essential for practice between lessons in preparation for the next week.
